Ardor Dancewear was started from a love of dance and a desire to create. Abigail Greisen began dancing in high school through the Arthur Murray franchise, where she quickly fell in love with dance. Overtime, she began to develop an interest in creating ballroom jewelry, which gradually grew into wanting to create ballroom costumes as well.
Abigail went to Utah Valley University where she danced on their Ballroom Touring Team, and competed individually with her partner as well. She received a degree in University Studies, curating her degree for Costume Design, and earned a Certificate of Proficiency in Ballroom Dance. Throughout college Abigail's love of creating costumes expanded into a business, and in 2023 she started Ardor Dancewear.
Ardor, Latin for "passion" and "excitement", represents Abigail's love for her craft. Each dress created by Ardor Dancewear is unique and handcrafted, designed to make the wearer feel comfortable and beautiful on the floor.
